Boardgames in Blighty Kickstarter News 3/4/15 – If I had the cash, I’d look at…

It’s been quite a busy week on Kickstarter and there were a few interesting new projects that you might want to have a look at.

This one has wonderful art. But I think shipping is overpriced for the UK and it’s not EU friendly which is a shame.

Soulfall is a barren land brought back from the edge of destruction by a mysterious group of entities known as the Lords. Preventing the destruction of the land, the Lords gained the devotion of the remaining survivors of Soulfall. Now, various Nomad tribes begin to expand across the land, eking out a new life in the ruins of an old world, establishing outposts and living in the shadow of the powerful – and often unpredictable – Lords of Soulfall.

One for you war gamers but its not EU friendly so be warned.

Surviving: One Month In

Yeah I know this is yet another Zombies game but it actually looks fun and not so stupidly over the top and yeah it seems a bit like Risk and it is very flexible in scaling up and down and yeah the price is good and… I might just go for the UK based project…

You control a group of survivors, trying to reclaim the city from the infected. But who do you fear most? The infected or the Surviving?

Sector Commander

Yep, this one is tempting although the simultaneous movement is problematic for those of us who play solitaire. A worthy UK based project though…

Back an exciting card driven WWII strategy game that plays like a wargame, card game and a board game all in one! For 2 or more players.
