Press release – Lost Battalion Games attending WBC and Heat of Battle to demo the Sergeants Miniatures Game
Lost Battalion Games will be attending the WBC (World Boardgaming Championships) that begin this week in Pennsylvania. While they will schedule some Sergeants Miniatures Game demos for the weekend to come (Aug 5-7, when there are more people and fewer folks are committed to game competitions), Jeff Billings (designer of SMG) is quite willing to do demos for individuals or small groups throughout the week. To schedule something directly, they should write to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The weekend after that, Aug 12 and 13, they will be doing SMG demos at “Heat of Battle,” a game con in New Orleans held inside the National World War II Museum (which was originally established as a “D-Day Museum,” as reflected by their URL http://www.ddaymuseum.org/). They will be playing the game in that surrounding area, where they may have Sherman tank or an “88” right behind them. A gentleman who jumped into D-Day with the 82nd Airborne will be at the con and will be visiting the demo (because we will be depicting actions he was part of). So that should be interesting.
